I signed up to do a tribute to a man who died in the world trade centre.
I have honestly looked everywhere i can think of for information about this man....i cannot find any.
I can tell you that his name was Joseph Jenkins Jnr and that he was 47 and lived in New York
He was married.
He actually died in the trade centre so he must of worked there or was one of the many emergency people that rushed to help.
I can remember the day it happened as if it was yesterday....the memory will never leave me.
So I'm truly sorry my tribute isnt very good I would of loved to of made it special...but Joseph Jenkins Jnr I have been thinking about you today and am truly humbled that you had to die so tragically.
RIP

It does not matter. I know quite a few people were having trouble finding information. I was lucky in that I did manage to find some for my assigned victim. The main thing, my friend, is that you have done your part and honoured this man and I am sure his family would be very proud.

You did more than I did
I have a similar problem Joanne, I cannot find a thing about the guy I have to do; I have even emailed the organiser of the tribute but he has not had the courtesy to reply so I will be mentioning the person I was given, but that is all I can do.....even Jeannette (welcome to my travels) has tried for me but with no luck. Don't worry, your tribute was nice. love you, Joan.
Joanne, this is a fine tribute to Joseph Jenkins Jnr. The time you have spent thinking of him, searching for details on his life, the fact that I am now thinking of him too... we don't need to know all the details to pay our respects and remember his name. Well done you.

Joanne for all the work you put into trying to find out about Joseph Jenkins Jnr is tribute in itself ~ as we now all know his name and can think about him as well ~ Ally
Don't worry, this is a nice tribute. To say his name, remember his life....he is loved by his family and missed by many.....Sandi http://journals.aol.com/sdoscher458/LifeIsFullOfSurprises
What a handsome man he was! You did the best you could with the info you could find, and I just think it's wonderful that you, being from across the pond, would take the time to do such a wonderful thing, Joan. I say that with much admiration and respect.
Thank you for honoring Joseph Jenkins Jr.
Hugs
Jackie

At least you tried - I didn't sign up unfortunately :( At least his name hasn't been forgotten like it could easily have been if you see what I mean xx
